Conducted research on various infectious diseases, with afocus on the study of antibiotic resistance in bacterial pathogens Developed and implemented new techniques(including molecular methods) for the diagnosis & treatment of infectious diseases in Owaisi group of hospitals Carried out external & internal Quality assessment of laboratory tests (EQAS & NABL), Helped in updating the bench manual for Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs) Worked as a reviewer in Journal of Medical & Allied Sciences Chaired many sessions in various National and State levelconferences, regularly organised Zonal CMEs Completed Basic Course in Biomedical Research (BCBR) Supervised and trained undergraduate medical students since 1992,conducted their internal exams& practical exams meticulously Guided undergraduate students on STS (Short Term Scientific research) by ICMR on various research projects Mentored and advised postgraduates since 2007 on their research projects and thesis work. Taught nursing staff about infection control and took regular classes for B.Sc students. Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities. Maintained good relationships with all my colleagues in our institution & outside institution. wherever university conducts the PG practical exams. I also extended the same with my technical staff all throughout my career.
