Deccan College of Medical Sciences is a super-specialty hospital and teaching institute with Department of ENT providing service to the people for more than 30 years now. The dept. of ENT has grown exceptionally with the intention of providing the best and highest standard of care. It is a well equipped department with sub-specialties like audiology, allergy clinic, vertigo clinic. We have a well equipped operation theatre with all the new advanced surgical equipments and instruments.
We also have a minor OT where all the minor surgeries are done on a daily basis. Minor OT is equipped with instruments and endoscopes for performing Video Laryngoscopy (VLS), Diagnostic Nasal Endoscopy (DNE), and all other minor surgeries.
In the main theatre, we do surgeries like microsurgeries, Micro Laryngeal Surgery (MLS), Mastoid surgeries, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), surgeries of Thyroid, parotid and routine surgeries like septoplasty, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, nasal bone fracture reduction, etc,. Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy with co ablation, dacryocystorhinostomy In the audiology department we have all services like Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Impendence Audiometry (IA) , Oto -Acoustic Emissions( OAE), Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA) with hearing aid facilities.
We have a temporal bone dissection lab for postgraduates training .
