Cardiology
The department of Cardiology has been functioning for more than 12 years. It has the latest equipment for diagnostic and interventional services like 2D Echo, 4D Echo, TEE, TMT, Holter, Catheterisation lab, electrophysiological studies. There are three full time experienced cardiologists (DM) providing round the clock emergency and routine cardiac services including intensive care, cardiac imaging, Percutaneous coronary interventions, Peripheral interventions, Balloon Valvuloplasty (Mitral and Pulmonary) and pacemaker implantation. The hospital is a part of Deccan College of Medical Sciences and is offering DM cardiology courses since more than 6 years.
The department has been providing trusted care to the patients with the state of the art equipments, and competent and experienced cardiologists renowned in the field.
Open heart surgery, Coronary angiogram, coronary angioplasty, 4 vessel intervention, bypass surgery, valve replacement surgery, minimally invasive cardia surgeries, coronary-angiography, heart valve surgery and surgeries for paediatric and adult cardiac conditions are being performed. The Institute is well known for both research work and regular academics.
