Therapeutic Endoscopy/Colonoscopy Enteroscopy ERCP Endoscopic Ultrasound Advanced Liver therapy Special Service provided by the Department Areas of clinical expertise include Diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI and Lower GI procedures. - Endoscopic Sclerotherapy, Variceal banding, Fundal Variceal glue injection, Achalasia pneumatic dilatation, Esophageal stricture dilatation, endoscopic cystogastrostomy, foreign body removal etc. Diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP procedures – CBD and pancreatic stenting, stone extraction, EUS guided Pancreatic Pseudo Cyst Drainage, EUS guided Lymph Node Biopsies and Biopsies from Pancreatic SOL, EUS guided Coeliac Plexus Block. Double Balloon Enteroscopy to evaluate the small bowel for Patients with Obscure GI bleed and SI evaluation for Patients with Crohns Disease. Percutaneous endoscopic Liver Biopsies, Motility studies-Nanometry-Oesophageal, Ano-Rectal etc.
In the main theatre, we do surgeries like microsurgeries, Micro Laryngeal Surgery (MLS), Mastoid surgeries, Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS), surgeries of Thyroid, parotid and routine surgeries like septoplasty, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, nasal bone fracture reduction, etc,. Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy with co ablation, dacryocystorhinostomy In the audiology department we have all services like Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Impendence Audiometry (IA) , Oto -Acoustic Emissions( OAE), Brainstem Evoked Response Audiometry (BERA) with hearing aid facilities.
We have a temporal bone dissection lab for postgraduates training .
